The Directors of DYS Marine, Designers and Builders of the Rush 10 have extensive experience of the design, build and operation of day charter Catamarans (the Suncat 50/60/65 range) In the last few years they have realised a need for a high performance, light weight, beach launched catamaran for operation close to the tourist beaches yet independent of ports and marinas.

In EC waters and other countries where commercial passenger carrying rules are in operation. The RUSH 10 with a payload of 12 passengers and registered as a Charter yacht will not require full commercial passenger licensing and can be operated by individuals with the required qualification.

The RUSH 10 is therefore ideal for the single operator with access to a suitable location or for a private owner who wants to enjoy high performance sailing with family and friends.

The RUSH 10 is presently constructed in Palma de Mallorca and complies with the European Common Market directives for small commercial vessels (Charter Yachts). Drawings, construction and Stability are approved by the Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) Classification body and each vessel is supplied with the (legally required) Certificate of Compliance, Owners Manual and copy of the RINA Certificate for series production. Assistance and advice from DYS Marine will be given to purchasers in obtaining Registration as a small commercial vessel, Charter Licence and Insurance
